SC.35.CS-CC.1.3 is about how technology helps teams work better together. It shows us that with the right tech tools, people can share ideas easily and work on projects from anywhere. This standard also highlights how teamwork through technology leads to creative solutions and innovations. I feel prepared to implement this because I know a lot about various tech tools that encourage teamwork. I can teach students to use these tools to enhance their group projects and think outside the box together. This makes solving problems and coming up with new ideas more effective and fun.

For the standard SS.2.CG.2.5, a 2nd grade social studies standard, students learn about people and symbols that represent Florida. The resources listed on the CPALMS website for this standard are really amazing and engaging! I think pairing the readings on major figures and landmarks of Florida and then finishing the standard with the Florida scavenger hunt listed on the website could be a great way for kids to apply their learning. Not only are they learning from text, but they are also tasked with recalling the information. But, this is in a fun and interactive way!

Being a proficient Internet searcher is vital for teachers to quickly find accurate, relevant information, enhancing teaching and student learning. The skill of evaluating sources for credibility and relevance is essential, ensuring the information used in classrooms is trustworthy and applicable. Additionally, using advanced search operators, a skill not covered in detail, helps refine search results, making information gathering more efficient and effective. This expertise significantly enriches the educational experience by providing high-quality, reliable resources.
