For Assignment 5: PowerPoint Interaction I learned how to utilize buttons in order to move around a PowerPoint. I think this could be a very useful tool to help combat cheating by students looking at the answers before they answer themselves. I enjoyed learning more about what PowerPoint has to offer and the great educational tools it can provide. However, I use an iPad as my computer, so I could not complete the assignment on my personal computer due to not being able to download Office 365. It was also time consuming due to the tedious nature of creating the slides.

As a college student aiming to become an elementary school teacher, I plan to use tools like Qualtrics for creating engaging and interactive surveys to understand my future students' learning styles and interests. This approach will help me tailor my lessons to suit their preferences, making learning more enjoyable and effective. For example, if a survey reveals a strong interest in dinosaurs or space, I can integrate these themes into subjects like math and reading to capture their attention and enhance their understanding. Additionally, such tools will be valuable for gathering feedback on my teaching methods, allowing me to adjust and improve my approach to better meet the needs of my students.

Next in my educational technology career, I would like to learn how to use Prezi effectively. Prezi is a tool that allows teachers to make fun and interactive presentations. I believe this resource will make my lessons more exciting and will also help my students learn in a new way. I plan to watch YouTube tutorials on tips and tricks, as well as practice making presentations for my classroom.
